Telephony / VoIP Channel Manager: US-West

We are seeking a Channel Manager experienced in selling Telephony / VoIP solutions to dealers / resellers throughout the western US territory.

In this role you will be responsible for managing and developing a territory of telephony resellers. Your primary focus will be to recruit new resellers / dealers by introducing them to our vendor’s solutions and the value add we offer as a distribution partner. This is an exciting sales position that challenges your ability to generate sales through a portfolio of value-added resellers.

Primary job duties include:

Recruit new telephony / VoIP resellers in the USA West territory.
To provide quotations to resellers and to up sell or introduce new solutions.
Territory and target account planning; achieve / surpass set monthly sales targets.
Ensure all reseller partners have the necessary tools to be most effective in selling our vendors product lines.
40% travel per month is required meeting with new resellers.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will be results driven, customer service focused, with 3-5 years of telephony sales experience selling to resellers / dealers.
Previous sales experience working for a telephony distributor, reseller / dealer or VoIP vendor is a definite asset.
Technical knowledge in VoIP / telephony is required and previous experience selling any of the following vendors product lines is an asset; AASTRA, OAISYS, Quintum, Fonality, Ingate, AudioCodes, ShoreTel, Avaya..
Proven track record of over-achieving annual sales quota.
Strong communication & presentation skills are essential.
Outgoing, self motivated with excellent time management skills.
Experience with Salesforce.com.

Compensation:

This is a full time position (home based) with monthly commissions and paid vacation.
