WatchGuard XTM Appliances Underpin New Managed Security Solutions for SMEs
Telekom Deutschland has been selling WatchGuard’s trademark red Unified Threat Management (UTM) products for more than ten years and this latest agreement to integrate the next generation XTM (eXtensible Threat Management) appliances into its new managed services portfolio after extensive evaluation, further strengthens the partnership between the two companies. “Security is a critical issue for any size of organization and SMEs face the same challenge as larger enterprises; to respond to increasing threats in the form of malware, hackers and botnets, while keeping IT costs and complexity under control,” says Eric Aarrestad, Vice President of Marketing at WatchGuard Technologies. “The WatchGuard XTM 2 and XTM 5 solutions specifically address the security needs of small to medium-sized enterprises and are ideally matched to the aims of the DTTS in the development of its new Business Network Protect service.” Read the full press release here.
